I started my early paintings on a landscape series. That was almost 20 years back. Nature has always been my passion and I have equated myself with it. “Safar” or journey was my second series, in which I tried to depict the lives of nomadic tribes. They have always fascinated me. This was followed by a series on “Brahmachari”, which has recognized and established me in the world of art. The rave reviews from the media and the art world that I had received were enormous. Thanks to this encouragement that today I am producing another series called “Different Facets of Human Mind” – the result of my experiences, which is the culmination of sustained efforts over a year. Man is never at rest. He is always thinking, pondering over something, contemplating and expressing his mind through body languages, searching for the light that will lead him to the ultimate truth. Life is difficult but those who overcome are the winners and those who cannot wanders into the wilderness. For every sorrow, there is a hope; for every hope, there is a joy; for every joy, there is a life. And life thus goes on. It is my experiment with the nature- the human form of life and its continuous growth and urge to live to its full, a continuous struggle – good versus evil.
In all my current paintings, I have used vibrant colours to capture the various moods of human lives. In this pursuit, I have tried to reflect the cosmic power, the driving force of all human energies, which guide us to realize our dreams. Each of my paintings speaks for itself. I find consolation in oil and give expression to work through this media. I am still a novice and learning slowly amidst sorrow and hope.
